Amazing Rooms, Excellent Gear, Exceptional Staff

Our state-of-the-art studios were custom designed by Wes Lachot Design Group and expertly built by Zadok Construction in 2019. Situated in the heart of Downtown Provo, the new space was built directly behind a turn-of-the-century pioneer home that houses several production studios. The two new rooms offer total flexibility, able to accommodate any type of project - large enough for a full orchestra and small enough for an intimate solo session. The equipment is top-rate, the instrument selection is extensive, the rooms are comfortable and sound amazing, and the staff will put you at ease and take care of your every need. The outdoor courtyard, artistic touches, stocked lounge, and being within walking-distance to countless restaurants and shops, make the time outside the studio just as enjoyable as the working hours.

Control Room 1

Control Room 1 features a 32-channel API 2448 in-line console with 72 channels available at mixdown through Burl conversion. This is a large, diffuse RFZ control room with a wide sweet spot. The beautiful flame/bird's eye maple front wall was hand-crafted by Tony Brett, who also built the console housing, credenzas, and other studio furniture. The rear wall employs tuned membrane traps, broadband traps, and Brett Acoustic Slatffusors for flat low frequency response and mid/high end diffusion. ATC SCM-150 main monitors are tri-amplified and powered by ATC crossovers and power amps, also available is a Barefoot audio surround system with a JL Audio Fathom subwoofer.

Tracking Room 1

Tracking room 1 (820 sq ft) is open and spacious with 18’ ceilings, hickory hardwood floors, reflective/absorptive rotating Brett Acoustics “Multifusor” acoustic panels, elegant hexagonal acoustic ceiling panels, and integrated ambient lighting. The room layout allows excellent lines of sight between the control room, the large tracking area and the three isolation booths, offering ultimate comfort and flexibility - set up a full band for a live recording session, a large orchestra or choir, or try out every different guitar and amp combo to find the perfect sound. In-room studio loudspeakers also facilitate other uses such as live concerts, listening parties, rehearsals, and special events.

Control Room 2

Another Wes Lachot Designed RFZ control room housing a 32 channel Daking 1112 console, ATC 150 monitors and Burl Converters to help you get great tones. Outboard gear from API, Chandler, Emperical Labs and many other manufacturers ensure that Studio 2 is ready to handle anything.

Tracking Room 2

Tracking Room 2 (500 sq ft) has hickory hardwood floors, RPG BAD panel acoustic panels throughout, integrated ambient lighting, and a darker moodier color scheme. The room, including a single isolation booth, can easily accommodate a full band or can be set up for a more intimate solo experience.

The House Studio

The House at June Audio (built in 1924) features original architectural elements including an elegant entry staircase, intricate woodwork, leaded-glass windows, vintage hardware, and original pine floors. Repurposed layout and custom acoustic treatments make it a fully-functional production facility with a natural transition to the new rooms through the shared lounge.

The Lounge

Natural light, stocked kitchen, comfortable spaces, interesting artwork. Take a break from recording and put your feet up and relax for a bit.

The Courtyard

10 hours in a room with no windows got you down? Get outside with views of the Wasatch Mountains, ambiant firepit, and courtyard seating spaces.
