Things moved slowly over the past few weeks, a few small items were completed but things should start to change more rapidly starting today.
The polished concrete floors were covered to protect them through the remainder of the build and the rubber base was put in.
Our Durham Manufacturing microphone storage cabinet arrived and lucky for us our neighbors at Jones Paint & Glass were willing to help us out with their forklift.
Tile work in the new bathroom is finished now.
I was up in the space above the studio 2 iso booth and thought it was really interesting to see the studio 2 ceiling hung on the spring isolators from this side.
Saturday night two of these trucks arrived all the way from Durham, North Carolina driven by some of the guys from Brett Acoustics.
7 of us spent about 4 1/2 hours unloading one of the trucks. There are few thing as nerve-racking as unloading a bunch of finely crafted finished wood work and fragile fabric covered insulation panels. Here we are unloading one of the 6 beautiful gobos Tony Brett and his crew built for us.

The instrument room that seemed so spacious quickly filled up with the wall panels for studio 2 and stacks of 705.
I did manage to get another row of guitar hangers up in the storage room, one more row to go.
It is pretty exciting after so long to help unload crate after crate of cloud panels and acoustic materials all meticulously crafted.

The other truck is still loaded completely full. One particularly exciting crate has one of my favorite logos painted on top.
